Editor’s Note: Vol. 4, Issue 2

Warriors come in all shapes and sizes, and in our latest issue of Ideomancer, we take a closer look at a good variety. Angela Boord treats us to mercenaries and payment in “All the Gold is Grass”. “Inversions” by Tom Doyle turns an entire culture upside down and gives them an unlikely savior. In “Heart of a Warrior”, Roger Bagwell twists our perception of the hard-hearted warrior. For the first time, we present poetry–“The Nightmare Hunters” by David Kopaska-Merkel and “The Water Sprite’s Lament” by Marcie Tentchoff.

In addition, we present an interview with Charles Coleman Finlay, a multiple awards nominee, and reviews of Wild Things and The Prodigal Troll by Charles Coleman Finlay, The Iron Tree by Cecilia Dart-Thornton, and According to Crow by E. Sedia.

We hope you enjoy this quarter’s issue!
